The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants securely connect to external tools and act on a user's behalf.

The integration is live in both directories: MindMap AI is available as a connector in the Claude directory and as an app in ChatGPT. It allows users to generate, edit, and organize mind maps from natural conversation in either assistant, without switching between apps or manually rebuilding structure by hand.

The assistant can only view or modify maps the authenticated user is already permitted to access, so the integration works within the boundaries teams have already set.
